Our job is to collaborate with producers, directors, and network and studio executives to cast the best talent for each role. We work to fulfill the creative vision of this team of artists. As casting directors, we get to help bring the vision of projects to life with our casting choices. 

Scene study involves actors taking a specific scene from a movie, television or play and working on it with our coach. The goal is to receive specific constructive feedback that helps the actor improve their craft and their abilities in specific roles. Scene Study is a way for actors to continually work on their craft and discover their strengths and weaknesses. Scene Study is a very important part of the actor’s process because it makes the actor harness his or her skill set to create a performance. 

Individual sessions 

Script coverage is the term used for the analysis and reviewing of screenplays. In Hollywood, it’s usually part of the creative development process, the first review step that a spec script receives as it makes its way up the chain of command at a studio, production company or literary agency or management company. 

"As a film director, I will envisage a way to translate a screenplay into a fully formed film, and then to realize this vision. To do this, I will oversee the artistic and technical elements of film production. This entails organizing the film crew in such a way to achieve the vision of the film and communicating with the actors." 

Gin Blanton is currently booking short films and features. 

• Prepare breakdown and preliminary shooting schedule.
• Prepare or coordinate the budget.
• Oversee preliminary search and survey of all locations and the completion of business arrangements for the same.
• Assist in the preparation of the production to ensure continuing efficiency.
• Supervise completion of the Production Report for each day's work, showing work covered and the status of the production, and arrange for the distribution of that report in line with the company's requirement.
• Coordinate arrangements for the transportation and housing of cast, crew and staff.
• Oversee the securing of releases and negotiate for locations and personnel.
• Maintain a liaison with local authorities regarding locations and the operation of the company.
• Setup the production office and systems in coordination with the Production Office Coordinator
• Work with various unions (DGA, SAG, WGA, IATSE and TEAMSTERS) to submit and finalize contracts.
